UK prog rockers Traffic Experiment have recorded a tremendous version of the Doctor Who theme music. Available on their website (here), there is also a video of them playing on YouTube.

In style it is very much Pink Floyd meets Delia Derbyshire, fitting really as the Pink Floyd track One of These Days has a short riff of the Doctor Who theme around two-thirds through (the Live at Earl’s Court version is more prominent and possibly a couple of bars longer).
