Here there be Dragons!

TAINot a reference to The Hobbit this phrase used to be found on old maps to indicate un-explored lands  though generally in the Latin as hix sunt dracones. Mapmakers also had a name for a land believed to circle the bottom of the globe so that it stayed upright – this was called Terra Australis Incognita or The Unknown Land of the South (hence the name Australia).

Where, you may ask, am I going with this? Have I taken leave of my senses completely? Well, there is some method in my madness…

Yes I want somewhere to blog about canon and I thought I would open up a category called TAI (for Terra thingy whasit) and in here discuss stuff that isn’t canon. What?!

Rather than get into Big Finish is canon (sort of, oh wait there’s Unbound…), the novels, various comic strips and so on, I thought it might be simpler to pick some things that aren’t canon (in my view) that they might act is yard sticks.

Does that make sense? Hopefully it will when I get some content…

Let me know what you think, please!
