Next up is a Jamie Matheson story for the Doctor, Bill and Nardole: Oxygen. Nice spacesuits, base under seige, all three of the TARDIS crew and zombies in space. What’s not to like?
At first glance this reminds me of 42, which is no bad thing. As to writer Jamie Matheson, I still feel his best work for TV has been Mummy on the Orient Express. Zombies in space can work, and the setting looks intimate (as was Knock Knock) so a real threat, but only to the immediate vicinity. Nardole also has something to do apart from watching the vault door. Fingers crossed it’s a solid story as well as a visual treat. Let’s compare notes at the weekend!
