Just over two days until The Ghost Monument and I’m looking forward to it immensely. The general positive vibe for The Woman Who Fell to Earth continues, though maybe I hand around the nicer parts of the web! Viewing figures look good, though no AI ratings afaik (a bit late?)

So, what am I looking forward to?

The Ghost Monument

I’ve no special knowledge, but as episode 3 is called Rosa and is a time travel story, I take that as proof the TARDIS gets rescued. I was looking forward to a short run of adventures leading to the discovery of the TARDIS, but then Chris Chibnall did write the first two episodes, so its a good point to leave other writers with all the pieces in play. The cast looks strong: Art Malik, Shaun Dooley and Susan Lynch all in key roles. I note the blurb in the cast entry I linked doesn’t mention Killing Eve for Susan Lynch. She was good in that I thought, perhaps it’s too recent to mention.

The setting looks intriguing, desert world makes me think Star Wars – will Jodie find a robe or hoodie to wear? [joke]

We’ve little in the way of plot. Is the TARDIS the titular ghost monument? Is it worshipped for allowing people to see the ghosts of the past? Just guessing. More after transmission!
