Big Finish has announced the details for two more War Master boxsets, and the first of these puts Derek Jacobi up against Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor in The Rage of the Time Lords. Producer and Director Scott Handcock had this to say:
This incarnation of the Master is very much the ‘Hannibal Lecter’ of Time Lords – intelligent, charming, but thoroughly ruthless. We had a lot of fun in studio bringing the War Master back to life! It’s been a gift of a project, and we can’t wait for listeners to hear it
The four stories are:
- The Survivor by Tim Foley
- The Coney Island Chameleon by David Llewellyn
- The Missing Link by Tim Foley
- Darkness and Light by David Llewellyn.
It will be released in July 2019, then December 2019 brings us The War Master: Anti-Genesis by Nick Briggs and Alan Barnes. Can’t wait!
