The ink is hardly dry on my Season 7 piece, and already the DWC is covering Season 8. This is where the show reaches its definitive (with apologies to Sarah Jane Smith) lineup: Jo Grant, the Master, UNIT and the Brig. What’s not to like!?

Season 8

Tyler Harris takes us through everything from Terror of the Autons to The Daemons. Of course he doesn’t forget Mind of Evil, Claws of Axos or Colony in Space either. It’s a Master heavy run of stories (with full credit to Roger Delgado) and Tyler is thorough in his assessment of each story. I’m very fond of Daemons (I even went to Aldbourne where it was filmed), though I do need to rewatch a couple of the others.
