The Christmas Invasion review

It’s that curious weekend between Christmas and New Year. We have had no Christmas special for the second year running, but in eight days time we will have had two episodes of series 12! Until then I thought I’d cover one of my favourite of the Christmas specials – The Christmas Invasion.

What did the Radio Times make of the Ninth Doctor?

September means time to think Ninth Doctor. And yes, it’s been over fourteen years (!!) since the Doctor and Rose burst onto our screens. The collected Radio Times reviews are here, and I largely agree with the ratings if not the details therein. All are worth a read.

Big Finish…

One Doctor, Two Hearts

One of the first products with the new Doctor Who branding is a Penguin book for young children: Doctor Who: One Doctor, Two Hearts. It’s a learn to count book, ideal for young time tots [did I really just write that?!], written and illustrated by Adam Howling.

The Day She Saved The Doctor review

I enjoyed the all-female writer The Day She Saved The Doctor collection for several reasons. It was nice to have Sarah Jane Smith in Jaq Rayner’s story, and to hear new writers Susan Calman and Dorothy Koomson. My review is on Starburst: THE DAY SHE SAVED THE DOCTOR. *** Message Ends ***
