Following the death of Terrance Dicks’s last month, fandom has been remembering him in different ways. I never met Terrance, though we did go to the same college (albeit 26 years apart!) I don’t have a favourite TV story of his, and given he was involved in script editing more than 150 episodes, his influence is too broad to single down to a few stories. I did read a lot of Target novels in the ’70s but never kept them.
