If you’re a member of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society lookout for the latest double issue Celestial Toyroom (496/7 – August 2019) with colour cover, evoking the Daleks in London. Edited by Alan Stevens, Alan also wrote the first article, a study of Daleks in London, ie Invasion of Earth. There are also fascinating articles on the Second Doctor and a study of death (or its lack) and the companion under Steven Moffat.

As ever it’s a good read, and well worth spending time with once it pops through your letter box. Of course you need to be a member of DWAS to get a copy!
