Mel returns!
Big Finish have just announced (March 13 th via podcast) that our favourite red-headed companion (and I don’t mean you Melody’s mum) will return; yes Melanie Bush as played by Bonnie Langford will have a trilogy with the Sixth Doctor which presumably means 2013. I like many people didn’t really rate her performances in the TV show at the time but admire and enjoy her Big Finish audios. I expect a lot of fuss when these appear!

Update May 2nd – fiddling with the new Big Finish website suggests indirectly that Mel will star with the Sixth Doctor in January’s release (and presumably February and March).
