Here’s a thing – I buy a Doctor Who calendar each year, and with the various numbers of Doctors, getting them all in twelve months has been a challenge and I did wonder how the official calendar would deal with 2019 and Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor. The answer? Two different calendars! If you want the new Doctor and companions, you get the one pictured, of for the previous Doctors, get a separate one.
Now, I don’t want to buy two calendars, and I quite like the variety of seeing all the Doctors through the year, so this annoys me (a bit). Do we need more months in the year? Is this cynical money making? Is this all part of drawing a line under the pre-Chibnall era? Who knows?!
