Like clockwork, with three days to go until series 9, we have the Clara is leaving rumour. This time is has more – Jenna Coleman has the role of Queen Victoria in a major new series (eg see this Telegraph article).
The fuss over this really amuses me — every actor ever has left the show at some stage, Jenna is bound to leave at some point. I thought the old Clara idea from Last Christmas was a good way to bow out – we shall see what happens. Until then I’ll recycle my old posts on new companions, just like everyone else!
