Although I’ve avoided the fallout from the leak of scripts for this season of Doctor Who, I am aware that people are suggesting that this week’s story, Listen is one of the best. I have seen it compared to Blink – I will be surprised and pleased if that is the case. It is selling itself as being very dark and scary.

Behind all the imagery and the focus on the Doctor, I suspect that this is mostly about Danny Pink and in a small cast there is also a Rupert Pink and the gallery shows a the name Orson Pink as well. We are also promised information on Clara.

As to the Blink idea – all I will say is Listen is to hearing as Blink is to seeing. Well nearly! See you all after transmission!
