On a recent podcast (LISTENERS’ EMAILS AND “SPOOKY!” THINGS (JULY #10)), it was announced that Elliot Chapman (photo) will be playing Ben Jackson in the 2015 releases of The Early Adventures. On the strength of the clips this will be good and now gives us a varied crew for the Second Doctor‘s TARDIS.

They’ve kept it in the background with all the Big Finish is 15 celebrations. I’m really intrigued to hear how Elliott got selected and I assume they decided to re-cast Ben before finding an actor to play him. I might ask if I can interview Elliott about this if BF doesn’t mind.
