Winning the prize for most unlikely news item of the year, Big Finish has revealed Sir Michael Palin will narrate the April 2020 Torchwood story Tropical Beach Sounds and Other Relaxing Seascapes #4.
OK, it’s actually a spoof from the Dead Ringers team but with John Barrowman’s cameo in Fugitive of the Judoon fresh in our minds, I did find this rather amusing. I hope you do too: Torchwood Special – BBC. ((- Message Ends -))
Big Finish has confirmed another run of stories for Team Torchwood, and to celebrate Ianto, Gwen, Jack, Toshiko and Owen have booked a holiday (if you trust the picture!). The new batch of twelve Torchwood tales starts in April 2020 – we have some details…
Today (Thursday 16 Jan 2020) sees the second of this week’s Torchwood releases and it’s time for Captain John vs Captain Jack! Yes, James Marsters returns in The Sins of Captain John! Warning – it’s very much not for children!
Writer James Moran takes Jack and Ianto to Serenity Plaza, exclusive gated community. It’s very much Stepford Wives meets that X-files episode where Mulder & Scully pretend to be married (Arcadia). What might (if they stick to the timeline) be the final Torchwood One release, Latter Days is a well-conceived piece of drama. There’s a simple idea running through – retirement and later life. It’s also a great set of stories for exploring Ianto and Yvonne Hartman.
