Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman pens The Ripple Effect

Malorie BlackmanThe latest Puffin book in the monthly short story range is The Ripple Effect by Waterstone’s Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman. Malorie has written many books for children of various ages as can be seen from her website.

I’m unsure of the age-group she is aiming at but the story is absolutely pure Doctor Who:

When the TARDIS lands on Skaro, the Seventh Doctor and Ace are shocked to discover the planet has become the universal centre of learning, populated by a race of peace-loving Daleks. Ever suspicious of his arch-enemies’ motives, the Doctor learns of a threat that could literally tear the universe apart…

I don’t know about you but I’m excited already!
